With the highly effective cleaner concentrate ILKA® Steinreiniger Basic you remove sintered organic and inorganic deposits, such as grease, oil, wax, soot, rust, efflorescence and environmental dirt from natural and clinker facades. Because Stone Cleaner Basic is acidic, it works on all acid-resistant natural and artificial stone.

In addition to the above application, the cleaner can also be used on silicate-bonded natural and sandstone, granite and the like. In addition, it is also suitable for fired stones, such as facing bricks, (split) clinker. The product is also not complicated in its application and in the Basic version it is also approved for private users. The surfaces to be cleaned must be thoroughly moistened and then the stone cleaner is applied pure or diluted with water with a painter's puff or brush in a circular motion. After a certain exposure time, wash off with a brush, strong water jet or high-pressure equipment and the difference between the cleaned and the dirty surface is immediately and clearly visible.

Stone Cleaner Basic may also be sold to and used by end users and is the alternative to Stone Cleaner S, which has been used for many years.

1 liter containers are supplied in bottles, 10 - 30 liter containers in canisters, 120 - 220 liter containers in drums and the 1000 liters in the IBC.
Before cleaning with ILKA Steinreiniger Basic Pre-wet the surfaces to be cleaned with water until they are saturated. Then apply ILKA Steinreiniger Basic. The dilution ratio is freely selectable depending on the degree of soiling. After a reaction time of 15 - 20 minutes, wash off with a brush, strong water jet or high-pressure device (80 - 130 bar). Cleaning should only be carried out in smaller surface sections, on the scaffold layer from bottom to top. Keep the parts of the facade below sufficiently damp with water. ILKA Steinreiniger Basic must not be allowed to dry on the facade and must not be applied with a high-pressure device! Finally, thoroughly rinse the treated surfaces from top to bottom with cold water. The optimum outside temperature for cleaning is approx. + 25° C. ILKA Stone Cleaner Basic must not be applied at a temperature below + 5°C. The working surface should not be exposed to direct sunlight or wind. It is recommended to create a test area before cleaning the facade.

Storage
The containers must be stored in a dry, closed and cool place. Shelf life at least 24 months. The product is frost resistant.

Safety instructions
The usual rules for handling chemicals apply: wear protective goggles, acid-proof gloves and protective clothing. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse affected areas immediately with plenty of cold water.
