Holzschutz – alle paar Jahre muss man sich darum kümmern
Sie kennen das Problem sicher: Immer wieder muss man Holz im Außenbereich vor Umwelteinflüssen, wie hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit, Regen und Schnee schützen und dafür zu Pinsel und Holzschutzlasur, Öl oder Holzschutzfarbe greifen. Teils muss man auch mehrfach streichen, um für einige Jahre Ruhe zu haben – bis die Farbe langsam wieder abplatzt! Bei AREXAL® HYDRO-Wood reicht ein einmaliges Aufbringen auf das Holz, um einen lebenslangen Schutz zu haben, da die Kristalline bis zu 2 cm tief in das Material eindringt, sich mit ihm verbindet und somit versieglt, wobei vorhandene Feuchtigkeit trotzdem noch entweichen (diffundieren) kann.

Anwendungsgebiet:
Anwendbar auf allen unbehandelten Holzarten mit Ausnahme von
Holz mit hohem Gerbstoffanteil (z.B. Eiche), gebrauchsfertig.
Oberflächenvorbereitung:
Die Entfernung sämtlicher Altanstriche ist notwendig, damit das Produkt ungehindert eindringen kann. Befindet sich ein Anstrich unter dem aufgetragenen HYDRO-Wood, wird dieser Altanstrich entweder von HYDRO-Wood herausgedrückt oder HYDRO-Wood kann sich nicht mit den Holzfasern verbinden und somit keinen Holzschutz erwirken. Unbehandeltes Holz benötigt keine Vorbereitung. Wasserbasierte Farbanstriche müssen vor der Behandlung mit HYDRO-Wood aufgetragen werden. Danach ist keine Farbanwendung mehr möglich. Es wird empfohlen alle metallischen Oberflächen zu schützen und keine metallenen Aufbewahrungsbehältnisse zu benutzen.
Auftragung:
Das Produkt kann wahlweise mit Pinsel, Rolle, Sprayflasche oder Niederdruckpistole (max. 5 bar) aufgetragen werden, die Aussentemperatur muss mindestens +5 Grad Celsius sein. Vor Gebrauch gut schütteln und nicht mit anderen Flüssigkeiten mischen (Erlöschung der Garantie). Vertikale Flächen immer von unten nach oben auftragen. Falls Sie nicht sicher sind, ob Ihr Objekt einen Voranstrich aufweisst, probieren Sie AREXAL® HYDRO-Wood an einer verdeckten Stelle aus. Die Ergiebigkeit von HYDRO-Wood hängt ab von der Porösität des Holzes. Im Normalfall reicht ein einmaliger Auftrag bis zur Sättigung des Holzes. Das Holz muss auf jeder Seite gut benetzt sein, bilden sich Tropfen, ist zuviel aufgetragen worden. Die Eindringtiefe von HYDRO-Wood liegt bei 2-5 mm je nach Holzart und Oberflächenstruktur. Hartholz ist kompakter, hier dringt die Flüssigkeit weniger tief ein, es wird also weniger HYDRO-Wood benötigt. Anfassen ist nach 30 Minuten möglich, nach 2-4 Stunden kann das Holz gut begangen werden. Vollständige Austrocknung nach ca. 3 Wochen.
Nachbehandlung:
Überschüssige Flüssigkeit, die nicht mehr eindringt, vor der Aushärtung mit Gummilippe oder Tuch entfernen. Werkzeug mit Wasser reinigen.
Sicherheitshinweise:
Augen- und langzeitiger Hautkontakt muss vermieden werden. Vorsichtshalber Schutzhandschuhe tragen.
Sollte es Haut- oder Augenkontakt geben, dann reichlich mit Wasser
abspülen.
Bei Einnahme des Produktes, reichlich Wasser
trinken und einen Arzt aufsuchen.
Außer Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
