The Burkert solenoid valve Type 0131 with article number 62737 is a direct-acting toggle valve, 3/2-way, normally closed (NC). This version has a brass body with internal thread G1/2, orifice DN 15 and NBR seals. A diaphragm separates the actuator from the valve body, so aggressive media such as acids or alkaline solutions can also be switched.
How the toggle valve Type 0131 works
In the rest position, pressure port 1 (P) is closed and working port 2 (A) is connected to port 3 (R). The valve is direct-acting and switches from 0 bar, i.e. without minimum pressure; the pressure range of this version extends to 0.5 bar, the Kv value for water is 4 m³/h. According to the data sheet, it opens in 10 to 20 ms and closes in 40 to 60 ms. The manual override with locking function simplifies commissioning and maintenance.
Coil, connection and electrics of Type 0131
The coil for 24 V UC (AC/DC) is moulded in chemically highly resistant epoxy and block-screwed, which makes it vibration-proof. The integrated kick-and-drop electronics reduce the power after pull-in (100 W) to 9 W during operation. It is connected via plug contacts to DIN EN 175301-803 form A; with a cable plug, the valve achieves IP65. The cable plug Type 2518 is included.

Applications of Burkert Type 0131
It switches aggressive and non-aggressive liquids, neutral gases and aggressive gases according to their diffusion properties, up to a viscosity of 37 mm²/s. It can be installed in any position, preferably with the actuator facing up. As a dealer listed by Burkert, we source the valve directly from the manufacturer.
