The Burkert Type 0131 (78706) is a media-separated, direct-acting toggle valve, 3/2-way mixing valve. Body and port: PVC plastic body, internal thread G1/2, orifice DN 10; sealing is made of EPDM. The diaphragm between actuator and valve body also allows aggressive media to be switched.
Circuit function and pressure range of version 78706
As a mixing valve, pressure port 1 (P1) is closed in the rest position and pressure port 3 (P2) is connected to working port 2 (A). The valve is direct-acting and switches from 0 bar, i.e. without minimum pressure; the pressure range of this version extends to 0.6 bar, the Kv value for water is 2 m³/h. According to the data sheet, it opens in 10 to 20 ms and closes in 40 to 60 ms. The manual override with locking function simplifies commissioning and maintenance.
Actuator and connector of version 78706
The coil for 24 V UC (AC/DC) is moulded in chemically highly resistant epoxy and block-screwed, which makes it vibration-proof. The integrated kick-and-drop electronics reduce the power after pull-in (100 W) to 9 W during operation. It is connected via plug contacts to DIN EN 175301-803 form A; with a cable plug, the valve achieves IP65. The cable plug Type 2518 is included. Plastic bodies are connected to the line via union nut and connection fitting.

Media and installation
It switches aggressive and non-aggressive liquids, neutral gases and aggressive gases according to their diffusion properties, up to a viscosity of 37 mm²/s. It can be installed in any position, preferably with the actuator facing up. As a dealer listed by Burkert, we source the valve directly from the manufacturer.
