Under article number 139625 we supply the servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm valve Burkert Type 6212 with a brass body, internal thread G1/2 and FKM seal. The valve is normally open (NO) and has orifice DN 13. A separating diaphragm keeps the medium away from the solenoid actuator, so slightly aggressive media can be switched as well.
How the Burkert diaphragm valve Type 6212 DN 13 switches
The valve is servo-assisted and therefore needs a minimum pressure of 0.2 bar; a differential pressure of 0.5 bar is required to open the full cross section. The pressure range of this version is 0.2 to 6 bar, the Kv value for water is 3.6 m³/h. The design of the valve internals ensures a soft closing function with only very low pressure peaks. With 3.4 W power consumption at 24 V DC, the valve is rated for continuous operation at 100 % duty cycle.
Installing Type 6212 with internal thread G1/2
The brass body is installed directly in the pipeline via internal thread G1/2; the body cover is made of PPE/PA. Electrical connection is made via plug contacts according to DIN EN 175301-803 form C; the cable plug Type 2516 must be ordered separately and provides IP65 protection. The valve can be installed in any position, preferably with the actuator upright.

What the diaphragm valve 139625 is suited for
It switches neutral and slightly aggressive, gaseous and liquid media that do not attack the body and seal materials, up to a viscosity of 21 mm²/s. Burkert will supply Type 6212 only until 17 December 2027; until then, the valve can still be replaced like for like in existing systems. As a dealer listed by Burkert, we source the valve directly from the manufacturer.
