With 32/13 S you receive a complete hose fitting with safety collar by Ludecke. Connection is made via Rd 32 x 1/8 f - Hose i.D. 13. The taper is 1:3. At Ludecke, taper hose stems with a 1:3 taper are generally sealed additionally by an O-ring. The passage is 10 mm. The overall length is 83 mm. The material used is Malleable Iron/Steel zinc-plated and yellow passivated, the seal is made of NBR. The zinc plating is free of chromium VI.

Application and technology of 32/13 S

Taper fittings to DIN 8537 and DIN 20 033 are rugged construction and mining fittings. A taper hose stem with union nut is screwed onto a nipple with an internal cone; the male cone and the internal taper seal against each other without any further sealing material. The system is used worldwide for compressed air and water on construction sites and in mining and tunnelling. The mating part is a taper nipple from the Ludecke range. The hose is secured with hose clamps DIN 20039 B, type SK. According to the standard the maximum operating pressure is PN 16 bar; depending on temperature and assembly method up to 25 bar are possible. The temperature range is -40 to +95 °C. For operating pressures from 40 bar Ludecke offers a separate range.
