Article HS 25 by Ludecke is a worm drive hose clip. The clamping range covers a hose outside diameter of 16 to 27 mm. In inches that is 5/8-1". The band is 9 mm wide and 0.8 mm thick. The maximum tightening torque is 5 to 5.5 Nm. It is tightened with spanner size SW 7. The overall length is 31 mm. The height is 13 mm. The material used is Steel zinc-plated.

Application and technology of HS 25

The hose assembly decides whether a fitting holds under pressure. worm drive hose clips in W1 steel are the part of the Ludecke range that secures the hose on the stem. The range conforms to DIN 3017. The catalogue names the material as band, housing and screw in W1 steel, zinc-plated and thick-film passivated and therefore chromium-VI-free. The high band tension gives an even distribution of clamping force over the whole hose circumference, and the worm drive is secured against overtightening. Rounded edges and smooth inner band surfaces protect the hose. Material and clamping range are embossed on the inside of the band and so remain legible on the hose even years later. Supplied up to size 90 in a carton, sizes 100 to 180 in a plastic bag, from size 190 loose. It secures a wide range of hoses and fittings for a wide range of media.
