What N 55-20 OS is built for

Taper fittings to DIN 8537 and DIN 20 033 are rugged construction and mining fittings. A taper hose stem with union nut is screwed onto a nipple with an internal cone; the male cone and the internal taper seal against each other without any further sealing material. The system is used worldwide for compressed air and water on construction sites and in mining and tunnelling. The mating part is a complete fitting or a taper hose stem with union nut to DIN 8537 / DIN 20 033. The maximum operating pressure is PN 25 bar. The temperature range is -40 to +95 °C.
