The MODY spiral hose supplies compressed air tools and assembly lines flexibly with media. Ludecke manufactures it in-house from Elastollan raw material. The polyester-based polyurethane is designed for classic indoor compressed air applications, is suitable for vacuum applications and for use in energy chains and drag chains. The coil has an extreme, lasting return force: the hose returns to its original shape even after the heaviest deformation. Despite its long reach it saves space, because the coil diameters stay small. The hose is resistant to abrasion, pressure, wear and kinking, and is elastic and flexible. It is free of plasticisers, heavy metals and silicone, recyclable and resistant to petrol, oil and antifreeze. The range of reusable fittings is matched exactly to the hose; anyone needing another combination takes a hose without fittings and the matching connection fittings. It is supplied in a shipping tube in which it can be stored cleanly and safely. The range is used in pneumatics, automation, measurement and control engineering, the automotive industry, apparatus and mechanical engineering and workshop equipment. For media other than compressed air the hose is available on request. Ludecke supplies the 4/6,5/8 and 6.5/10 sizes in a new material quality for better flexibility at the same pressure and temperature behaviour. For this hose size Ludecke offers 7 matching connection fittings, which can be enclosed or, from ten pieces per hose type, fitted in-house. The maximum operating pressure is PN 10 bar.
