It is connected via connector form A to DIN EN 175301-803 (2 + earth); the cable plug, for example Type 2518, is not included. With a suitable plug the valve reaches IP65. The epoxy coil of size 40 mm operates at 24 V AC/DC. Its integrated kick-and-drop electronics pulls in at 20 W and then holds at 2 W. The coil is designed for 100 % duty cycle. The permissible ambient temperature ranges from -40 °C to +75 °C – check this value, as it distinguishes otherwise similar variants.
How the piston valve 20092781 is built
As cartridge FC16 with Ø 34.66 mm, the valve is inserted directly into a valve block or assembly. Body, valve seat, core and stopper are made of stainless steel, the seat seal and the seal towards the outside of EPDM. The core runs in a PTFE sliding ring, which extends service life when switching dry gases. Stopper and core guide tube are welded; Burkert specifies the internal and external leakage rate as 10-4 mbar·l/s. The medium temperature may range from -40 °C to +90 °C.
