We have something against your damp walls in the cellar, garage, flat...
Crystalline waterproofing slurry helps you to force moisture and water out of the rooms and even out of the building structure and to create a comfortable living climate.
In combination with our Renovation Plaster White, you get a perfectly coordinated package that permanently solves the moisture conduction problem. Below is a brief explanation of exactly how our AREXAL® crystalline sealing slurry works.
The slurries contain special crystallines based on a decades-old technology that is constantly being developed and improved.
These crystallines penetrate at least 6 cm and up to a maximum of 20 cm deep into the masonry or concrete and permanently bond with them. In the process, the crystallines grow towards the water and occupy the capillaries and pores in the building material. The moisture in the building material is thus displaced, the stone or concrete becomes more resistant and yet moisture can still evaporate to the outside. The wall thus remains "breathable".
Here you can see the principle of crystalline sealing.
Image 1: Water (blue) penetrates the building structure from the outside.
Image 2: The crystallines (yellow) grow against the penetrating water and penetrate deep into the building structure. All capillaries (pores) are occupied by the crystallines.
Image 3: Due to the crystalline growth, pressurised water no longer has a chance to penetrate the building structure.

Cementitious sealing slurry with up to 4 bar compressive strength
The AREXAL® waterproofing slurry is used as a cement-bound surface waterproofing agent and provides waterproofing against ground moisture and pressurised water. With the appropriate application thickness, the slurry can also be used as a pressurised water seal, especially against aggressive water. In doing so, it adheres to almost all cleaned mineral substrates.
The high flexural strength of 6.0 N/mm² of the laguz crystalline sealing slurry greatly reduces the risk of cracking. The sealing slurry can be used in new and old buildings, indoors and outdoors, in damp rooms, swimming pools, water tanks, underground garages, tunnels, shafts and for subsequent sealing in cellars, retaining walls, septic tanks etc.
All words are just smoke and mirrors, of course we know that.
That's why it's best to test for yourself.
Just order one or more bags of the sealing slurry or even better the combination of sealing slurry + restoration plaster today and convince yourself of the positive properties.
We are convinced that you will be convinced of the AREXAL® products afterwards and therefore there is also a 10-year manufacturer's warranty !
Always read labels and product information before use.

If you want to have permanently watertight buildings, structures and basements with little effort, then AREXAL® crystalline sealing slurry is exactly the right product. Based on a decades-old technology that is constantly being developed and improved, the crystallines penetrate at least 6 cm and up to a maximum of 20 cm deep into the masonry or concrete and bond with them permanently. In the process, the crystallines grow towards the water and occupy the capillaries in the building material. The moisture in the building material is thus displaced, the masonry or concrete becomes more resistant and moisture can still evaporate to the outside without new moisture being able to penetrate again from the sealed side.
Processing instructions for the sealing slurry
Suitable for sealing masonry and concrete against ground moisture, pressure water, backwater and groundwater. Walls must be fully jointed before application. Fill nests in the concrete or voids in the masonry with mortar of mortar group II with the addition of laguz liquid X. Already existing spacers, also star spacers as well as wire rods are to be chiselled out 1.5-2 cm and filled with the same mortar. Concrete surfaces to be sealed must be pore-open and free of all contamination such as formwork oil residues and cement residues. After placing the cove, fill it well with laguz Expressdicht, then apply the sealing slurry. Laguz crystalline sealing slurry is to be applied diluted with water in 2-3 coats or trowels onto the substrate until it is of trowel or slurry consistency. A new coat of slurry should only be applied when the previous one has set. The total thickness of the slurry coat should be at least 2 mm. Highly absorbent substrates must be pre-wetted. Freshly applied slurry coats must be protected from sunlight and draughts.
Subsequent horizontal or vertical waterproofing against wall and floor moisture
Remove loose plaster and paint coatings thoroughly. Laguz crystalline sealing slurry is then applied 1-2 times in a saturated manner, whereby the impregnation must be absorbed but not yet dried when the next impregnation is applied. In case of heavy moisture penetration, several impregnations may be necessary. One bag of waterproofing slurry must be intensively mixed with approx. 5.5 l of water. The first coat of laguz crystalline sealing slurry should be applied on a pre-moistened surface. Afterwards, the sealing slurry should be applied in a thinner consistency as an adhesive primer. To be noted: For the execution and after-treatment of laguz crystalline sealing slurry, the guidelines for plaster according to DIN 18 550 apply, i.e. avoidance of heat, frost and strong wind during execution and at least 24 hours afterwards, as well as sufficiently long moisture retention. Clean tools and mixers with water only!
Safety instructions .
Due to its alkalinity, laguz crystalline sealing slurry has a corrosive effect! The protective measures ordered by the chem. The protective measures prescribed by the chemical trade association must be observed at all times. Only work with gloves and protective goggles. After skin contact, consult a doctor immediately. For better protection of the hands, apply a skin protection cream. Immediately rinse out any splashes of material on the skin or in the eye with plenty of clean water.
